About Attorney Rita Sud
Rita is a trial lawyer and litigator offering services to businesses and individuals. She represents clients in a variety of areas including complex commercial disputes, high net worth divorce, contempt and modification actions, lender liability, property, consumer rights, and criminal defense. For some of her clients, she advises on business concerns including daily employment, contract, and compliance issues.
Rita Sud was a Law Clerk in Salem, Massachusetts, where she participated in cases from a varied area of law including consumer protection, personal injury, family and probate. There she drafted motions and pleadings.
Ms. Sud also worked in appellate advocacy for civil and criminal appeals before the New Hampshire Supreme Court and First Circuit Court of Appeals. Her work involved extensive research in federal and state criminal law, contracts, trusts, property, domestic relations, and constitutional law.
Prior to becoming a legal advocate, Rita worked in regulatory compliance for Putnam Investments, as an associate for the investment management firm of Bradley, Foster & Sargent, Inc., and as the Treasury Manager a multi-national internet company.
Rita Sud is a graduate of the Massachusetts School of Law. She holds an M.B.A. from the Simmons Graduate School of Management. She is a member of the Women's Bar Association of Boston.
